Surat, Gujarat : The students are studying online due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic and most of them are now fed up, sitting at home. They do not have any fun activity like they used to before and their screen time has also increased.So, the students of Eventology Institute have come up with a Fun Fankaar Art Competition, which is India’s first of a kind Online Art Competition.
With the Fankaar Art Competition, students will have to make drawings online at a stipulated time of the competition on the 13th of this month and they will be watched over by the jury via JioMeet and will be judged. Other competitions have the rule that the participants have to upload their drawings/art at a said portal, but this one is unique. This will make the students feel as if they are actually sitting in a competition with other participants. The only prerequisite for this competition is to online register for the competition, which is happening during 21st August to 12th September.
Organizer Janvi Shah and Shraddha Shah said, “This Drawing Competition is for the students sitting at home with no extracurricular activities. The motive of this competition is derived from our beloved PM Modi Ji’s campaign ‘Aatmanirbhar’. We want to spread the message into the society that creativity is no more restricted and it can be explored from your homes too. Making students Aatmanirbhar of their creative skills is the agenda to bring out students from the shell of lockdown and motivate them to look at the brighter future. Making this competition online makes us reach a large number of students without any barrier.”
The Students of age group starting from 11 can participate in this competition and the age group ranges till 22 and above. The topics are pre-decided and 3 winners will be selected from each of the 3 pre-decided topics. The Jury will announce the winners on 13th September itself. The whole event is being managed by the students of Eventology Institute, Surat.The Students of Eventology, have been organizing various events in the past, which include – Mirch Neon Run 2018, IIFT Fashion Show, Glam Garba Navratri 2019, Wedding Sutra Fashion Show, Sangeet Night with Purva Mantri, Mud Fest to name the few. This is their First Online Event/Competition in the times of pandemic.
